Why Is It Important to Give?

Giving is important to God so it should be important to us. Giving to others is one of the many ways we worship Him. Throughout the bible, we see that the Lord gave and as Christians, it is our mission to become more like Christ; so in our aim to do so, giving is one way in which we become like Christ. Also, it is a way to show love and praise God for all His mercies and benefits that He bestows on us everyday. His Grace should motivates us as His people to show generosity as a way to Glorify His name. Lastly, the Bible states in Acts 20:35 that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Therefore, let us be cheerful givers, showing love to others without hesitation.

TITHES & Offering

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." We see this scripture in Matthew 6:12. Tithe means a tenth of what we give from our income to God. If we are able to open our hearts and continually give this, then it shows our love to God and our commitment to His word. Doing this is a blessing to our lives!

Offerings are gifts we give beyond our tithes. It expresses thanks and praise to the lord!

Education is very important to us! That is why we have so many resources for our students here at Jesus Power. We want every child in the church to get an opportunity to grow! That is why we solicit funds for our college students. Please donate to support the Jesus Power Scholarship Fund.

We love helping out in the community! Help us help those in need in the community. There are different groups that your money will support. From our welfare team, to our community outreach and volunteer groups, we always try to find ways to extend a helping hand.
